Carnivore II : Day 15 - Feeling Patriotic

Why?

That right there is Breakfast & Lunch - kangaroo mince and bacon, fried in lard - ate as much as I needed for breakfast, and then had more than enough left over to take to school and stuff myself at lunchtime. Perfection! Half of my national emblem is delicious! I wonder what emu tastes like...

Dinner: perfectly cooked pork roast (after being inspired by a recent blog comment) with ample crackling, mmmmmm...

Officially full! Ya know, I've said it before, but I love being a carnivore!!

  2. Pure bliss indeed! My system just hums along so beautifully, and I enjoy each and every meal. I don't miss veg, fruit or nuts one bit, which surprises me. My relatively flat abs thank me for it :)

  3. I've done a few days here and there going carnivore and am considering taking it week-long, then month-long. I have some very stubborn fat that refuses to go away and was thinking going carnivore would help shed it. You're such an inspiration and I'm really jealous of all the roo meat you get to indulge in. It's expensive for me to buy but one of my all time favorite meats.

I'd really appreciate any tips you might have for a newbie to long-term carnivorism.

  4. Hi Diana! My tips are to ensure you keep the fat intake up, with it providing a minimum of 60% of calories. Eating a variety of meats is a great way to keep it interesting, although I could live on kangaroo and beef mince! Read as many people's experiences as you can, since then you'll know what to expect. I like the Zeroing In On Health forum - I read the content there for a couple of days before I started my first experiment, although interacting on forums is time-consuming and tedious, for me anyway.
